Equidad de Género
Vence González, Patricia; Ruiz Ortega, Rosario de los Milagros
A widely accepted definition of the term Gender Equality is the concept of providing equal opportunities to both men and women in political, economic, education and health aspects. The principles of equality and non-discrimination are key elements in contemporary societies. In the case of public universities in Mexico, the promotion of gender equality acquires greater relevance since they educate future professionals. In term of school policies, the Educational Model of the UAEH and the Institutional Language Program (PIL), they both include gender equity within the generic competencies. For this reason, this repository is created in order to contribute to the dissemination of the subject in the English language.

Biomolecules
Ruiz Ortega, Rosario de los Milagros; Acosta Mejia, Martha Teresa
Biochemistry is the chemistry of life, which means that studies the molecules that allow life: biomolecules. There are two types of biomolecules, inorganic such as water and carbon dioxide, and organic which are so big that are called macromolecules. There are four macromolecules: carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acids and lipids. All of them have specific structures and functions, so important that without them life would not be possible.

Interacciones plantas‐medicamentos
Coadministration of medicinal plants and drugs can
lead to alteration in the pharmacological effects,
knowledge of possible interactions will favor the
rational use of medicinal plants.
El alumno de Farmacia conocerá las posibles
interacciones entre medicamento‐planta, con la
finalidad de fomentar el uso racional de estas
ultimas.

Estructura molecular
De Ita Gutiérrez, Sandra Luz
Matter is build up by atoms and these of subatomics particles:
protons, neutrons and electrons. The atoms form bonds with their
valence electrons. In organic compounds, the chemical bond is
covalent, and because carbon can form chains, is possible a wide
variety of organic compounds. Organic compounds contains others
elements differents of carbon, like nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen.
Structure is important in Chemistry, because knowing structure of
chemical compounds, is possible to obtain information on
reactivity, and moreover, establish a relationship between structure
and activity.
