dc.description.abstract | Aggregate planning is a process by which the company determines the levels of capacity, production, subcontracting, inventory, missing and even prices during a specific time horizon. It allows developing a comprehensive plan for the entire company, which is done by product families rather than by SKU (Stock Keeping Unit). The objective of aggregate planning is to satisfy the demand, while maximizing the profits of the organization. In the present work, an example of a linear programming model for the optimization of an aggregate plan is addressed. | es |
