Abstract

The business models that create value change the game of convenience for the consumer. Innovations in business models have reshaped entire industries and billions of dollars of value redistributed.

For growth through business model there are two problems. The first is the lack of definition of the business, since little formal study has been done on the dynamics and development processes of the business model. Second, few companies understand their existing model behind its development, its natural interdependencies, strengths and limitations.

There are three steps to trace the route to building model and look beyond borders, begins by thinking about the opportunity to meet a real customer, the second step is the construction of a project that included what and how the company will meet that need and generate a profit. The third is the comparison between model and an existing one to see how much would have to change to capture the business opportunity. In the proposed model, the plan must contain four elements.

You cannot invent or reinvent a business model without first defining a clear customer value proposition. The most common barriers for people to get a specific proposal are: wealth, insufficient access to information, skills and time. They can often create new products that mimic competitors without substantially changing its own business model, what matters would be to find the DNA of the innovation proposed.

Keywords: Business model, value creation, innovation, value chain.
