Preámbulo:
1. La ciencia al servicio del conocimiento; el conocimiento al servicio del progreso
2. La ciencia al servicio de la paz
3. La ciencia al servicio del desarrollo
4. La ciencia en la sociedad y la ciencia para la sociedad
El contexto enmarca que la ciencia forma parte de una situación de interdependencia y es necesaria para para preservación de los sistemas, la sustentación de la vida, la supervivencia y las diferentes formas de vida.
La ciencia se encuentra al servicio de la paz, al servicio del conocimiento y el conocimiento al servicio del progreso, pero debe tomarse con gran responsabilidad la participación de todos y cada uno de los seres humanos que hacemos uso de ella, debemos actuar con la convicción de contribuir con todas las personas a mejorar su calidad de vida y generar un medio ambiente sano y sostenible sin corromper con la naturaleza.

Science is at the service of peace, at the service of knowledge, and knowledge at the service of progress, but the participation of all and each human that make use of it should be taken with a great responsibility, we must act with the conviction to contribute with all people to improve their quality of life and generate a healthy and sustainable environment without corrupting with nature.
