dc.description.abstractThis paper evaluates a method of segmentation threshold to obtain information systems for monitoring industrial processes and a comparison is made with pre-established methods of providing library of MATLAB toolbox. In addition, it uses digital image processing with direct segmentation criteria for obtaining user-defined threshold. The main findings in the investigation show that this method of segmentation threshold determines ranking probability of finding the objects you wish to highlight by selecting pixels that determine the background or object to be lighted.es
