Nowadays everybody uses clocks and watches, but little is known about the invention of them. Besides, we do not know which was the first clock used in our times. Telling time is a skill as real-life and essential. In addition, there are some reasons to learn how to tell or set the time. English-speaking cultures place a lot of emphasis on being punctual. It is considered very rude to keep someone waiting for a long time in a business situation. For example, a person who arrives late for a job interview would probably be not hired for the position or someone who is more than a few minutes late for a business appointment would be expected to apologize if more than about minutes late.es
