dc.description.abstract | The atoms that exist within the planet Earth are linked to each other forming a number of chemical compounds, each with different physical and chemical properties to the atoms that gave rise to them. For example from the carbon a solid of black color; oxygen and hydrogen colorless and odorless gases compounds such as sugar or alcohol can be obtained. The same happens to combine the hydrogen with the oxygen both gases to form a transparent liquid called water. The atoms when bonded have different characteristics from the original ones, then the different types of chemical bonds are described below. | es |
