dc.description.abstractThe Mayan Culture was developed in the States of Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Campeche, Chiapas, stretched through Guatemala, Belice, Honduras and The Salvador. The Mayan people were notable en in American Continent for works of art, handwriting and the wonder ful works of architecture that until now have been able to preserve in diferent places such as: Tikal, Uxmal, Palenque, Chichen Itza. The contribution of Mayan art stand out: Murals of Bonampak, the pyramids inspired by a deity and oriented with the cosmos, foundations, palaces, false arches, vaults; without forget that valuable contributions in the literature they are aported to Popol Vuh.es
