Magnetization and structural characterization of the Fe2O3-MoO2-Nd2O3-Sm milling producto.

Abstract

The use of high energy mechanical milling has been observed as a method to obtain nanometric sizes, and was reported in some cases as increased the magnetic saturation values, which allow this type of materials of interest for advanced or electronic engineering, this work presents the result of the product evaluation obtained from the mechanical grinding of Fe2O3-MoO2-Nd2O3-Sm, which were the materials were added to the stainless steel vial, the process was carried out for 13.5 hours at room temperature, were subsequently characterized to identify the structural phases present, the morphology presented in these materials, the behavior of the magnetic hysteresis curve and the distribution corresponding to the particle size.
