Abstract

Renaissance cultural movement that took place in Western Europe in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Artistic style manifested in sculpture, painting and architecture in Europe, has two essential features that are: imitation of classical forms originally developed in ancient Greece and Rome and the intense concern for secular life that is expressed on a growing interest in humanism and assertion of human values.
