Preventing addiction is now considered within the basic education of teachers and parents, they should talk with children about addictions, since they are pre adolescence ( from 9 to 12 years of age). The 3 main addictions are: Smoking, alcohol and drugs. Addiction is considered a social problem and the best way to combat it is love, and communication between parents and children, is very important for parents to be watchful of the friends of their children and their class schedule. The most prone people to addictions are those who don´t have comprehension and attention when they are children of addicted parents, when they are abused children, when young people want to belong to a particular social group, or just curious, so it is necessary that parents be responsible of their children.
