dc.description.abstractIt is a fact that tourism worldwide has experienced constant growth until becoming for many countries, one of its main sources of income and one of the first international trade actors. According to figures reported in the Barometer of the World Tourism Organization (WTO), in the first half of 2017 the number of foreign visitors reported by various destinations is increasing, as the visits of overnight tourists increased by 6% compared to the same period of 2016, this figure allows this semester to be one of the best in six years. With the aforementioned perspective, the staff of a tourism company becomes a fundamental part so that the service offered is of quality but above all of warmth, this is how the staff that makes up a company is one of its most important pillars and who sustain all the functions performed in said organization. In this context it is important to place the students of the Degree in Tourism in understanding issues that set the tone for the work of staff and staff and identify strategies that will allow those who work in a company to feel full and satisfied in the field reflecting an increase in productivity and, in the case of the tourism sector, not only the positioning of a company but of an entire receiving community. The purpose of this Anthology is to provide students of the fourth semester of the Degree in Tourism, a set of readings and videos that reinforce the knowledge acquired in the classroom. It is worth mentioning that this Anthology is only a part of the documents and / or works that the student must consider to accredit the subject. The Anthology of Human Capital includes material to be developed within the six learning units, as well as in the conclusions section. The marked order responds to the sequence contained in the syllabus, at the beginning of each section an introduction of what is intended to be reinforced is described and at the end of it the product that should be delivered as a result of the reading made. This Anthology is perfectible and put to consideration by the Academy of Tourist Services, who will have to give its approval to be published.es
