Lynx rufus, predador solitario
Abstract
The wildcat or bobcat is a solitary predator that feeds on a wide variety of prey. It can help control populations of some small herbivorous that might become pests. This article reviews some of the strategies that have enabled this species to become one of the most emblematic cats and one of the top predators in North America.
