Biological conservation: the case of some groups of insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and plants in Mexico
Abstract
In this work, we present different points of view on the current problems of biodiversity conservation in Mexico, taking as reference some groups of animals and plants (insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and plants). The objective is to reveal the problems faced by these organisms, given the recent changes caused by human activities, and discuss whether Mexico has adequate and tangible strategies for their management and conservation.
