The voices of El Arbolito: Transdisciplinary analysis of downtown Pachuca
Abstract
The Barrio El Arbolito is one of the first inhabited places on Pachuca, Hidalgo. This place keeps a pretty important mining history to Hidalgo, however, over time it has been marked by social stigma. Due to this problem, different collectives have been interested on recovering and maintaining a testimony about the importance of the neighborhood, carrying out action plans that help mitigating different problems that concern the neighbors and, in this way, consolidating the participation of three social actors: inhabitants, civil society and municipal presidency.
