In this research the objective is established to determine the existing of risky eating behaviors in students of fifth and sixth grade from a private elementary school in Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo. It is a cross-sectional study with non – random sample. In the sample N= 109 early-adolescents aged from 9 to 12 years (= 10.25 years, SD= 0.67). The data was collected through the instrument: Risky Factors Associated to Eating Disturbances Scale (RFAFDS-II) 10. The results showed important percentages in the sample of boys over girls practicing the risky eating behaviors.
