Medical education based in clinical simulation, enables students to identify normal and abnormal breath sounds as “wheezing”. This identification allows them to integrate and improve clinical diagnosis and strengthen daily hospital practice with patients. This practice promotes the integration of theoretical and practical knowledge of the clinical-pathology respiratory system course. The objectives of adventitious breath sounds practice “Wheeze” are the following:
- Identify normal breath sounds in its two phases (inspiration and expiration).
- Identify abnormal breath sounds known as “Wheezing”.
- Describe the secondary complications due to the presence of “wheezing”.
