La neuroarquitectura y el diseño biofílico contribuyen al bienestar integral de las personas a través de la configuración consciente del entorno construido. Se analiza la forma en que diversos estímulos espaciales como la luz natural, los colores, las formas, la vegetación y la percepción del espacio influyen en la actividad cerebral, las emociones y las funciones cognitivas. Asimismo, se presenta una revisión sobre el origen y desarrollo de la neuroarquitectura, así como su aplicación práctica mediante elementos arquitectónicos específicos. E texto incluye extractos de estudios científicos que respaldan la relación entre el entorno y la salud mental, así como ejemplos contemporáneos de proyectos arquitectónicos que integran estos principios. Más allá de exponer beneficios, el propósito es generar consciencia en arquitectos y diseñadores para que implementen estos enfoques en sus procesos proyectuales, creando espacios sensibles, empáticos y restaurativos que fortalezcan la calidad de vida y la conexión con la naturaleza.
