Abstract

In this work we present a system that makes use of an accelerometer and gyroscope sensor, the variations in the position and speed of a car are analyzed to identify scenarios that indicate a road accident and with the Internet access provided by cellular networks, An application for Android phones is developed, in order to make a transition to the IoT (Internet of Things) of the data of the GPS system incorporated by cell phones to notify automatically and through SMS addressed to the contacts of the users, the location and request for help when an accident arises in areas that do not have 3G or 4G technology.
