Abstract

Corrosion control systems using the printed current technique are installed in the pipelines that transport hydrocarbons, however, the trajectories in some cases are similar with different owners, so that each one supplies and supplies its PC. The present study analyzes factors that can be identified as electrical interferences due to the proximity of the printed current systems, according to data in the monitoring of potentials, disturbances in the electrical potential between both pipelines have been observed placing this problem in two kilometers near the location of the DC current printing system, to perform the analysis, 3 tests were carried out with the technique of surveys of potential CIS with the aim of identifying points with problems affected by the systems of printed current; Among the affected results, it is observed that an influence is effectively generated between both systems where there are overprotection potentials above -2700 mv CSE referred to NRF-047-PEMEX-2014, alternatively a mapping of conditions of coating by the DCVG technique, detecting a coating failure which does not present severity when typed as type D according to NRF-047-PEMEX-2014, the analysis of the location of the anodic bed plays an important role derived that the geometry It is important in the dispersion of current and in these cases we must not forget that it is the same terrain (electrochemical system) when considering the ground as an electrolyte between both systems, so constant monitoring is recommended since they can create areas susceptible to accelerated corrosion.
