Abstract

The purpose was to identify what a socioeconomic study consists of, through a knowledge diagram, which was carried out with the free version of Lucidchart.com software. The official format provided by the Secretary of Education of the state of Veracruz, regarding the socioeconomic study to request educational sponsorship, was considered as a base consultation source, resulting in a mental map. Therefore, it was recommended to carry out market studies, for better decision making when granting benefits according to the profile.
