Analysis of gastronomy in the Cuenca de México: A study case in the municipalities of Villa de Tezontepec and Tizayuca, Hidalgo.
Abstract
The object of this research is to accomplish an analysis about gastronomy of the Cuenca de México, specifically the municipalities of Tizayuca and Villa de Tezontepec, which belong to the Hidalgo State, to identify the characteristic products and dishes of the aforementioned municipalities within specific purpose of implementing touristic activity focused on this regional gastronomy, having a positive impact on the host communities, generating jobs for the inhabitants of the tow municipalities and surrounding places; and at the same time, activate economy through the capital stream generated by tourism through the affluence of visitors from different parts of the country and, if it is possible, from foreigners, also it is purported the municipalities in question could be recognized within the principal places to be recommended by the tourism industry.
