Uso de extractos vegetales y probióticos para la salud bovina sostenible

La producción bovina moderna enfrenta un gran problema ante la resistencia antimicrobiana, un desafío global que amenaza la salud animal y la seguridad de la salud pública. Históricamente, la dependencia de los antibióticos ha revelado la urgencia de transitar hacia alternativas biotecnológicas sostenibles. El presente trabajo explora como los extractos vegetales y los probióticos fortalecen la respuesta inmunológica del animal. Mientras los metabolitos secundarios de las plantas funcionan como agentes protectores, los probióticos establecen una barrera competitiva contra patógenos oportunistas. La integración estratégica de estas alternativas no solo permite una digestión más eficiente, sino que constituye una barrera biológica vital para frenar la resistencia antimicrobiana, promoviendo una ganadería más limpia, rentable y responsable con el entorno.
