Abstract

The study of the diversity of ecosystems includes structural diversity and functional diversity, speaking of the variety of habitats existing in a certain region up to the functional processes within an ecosystem. The present map contains concepts related to functional diversity in ecosystems, contemplating the role of some species in nature.
