This article reviews a collective mural project conducted in Aguadulce, Almería, in September 2012, initiated during an academic stay by Maestro Rodríguez from the UAEH. The project was part of the "Art and Context" research group and included a conference on Mexican Muralism and a workshop aimed at training local artists. The event led to the formation of the "Aguadulce Mural Collective," which engaged participants from the community in creating a 73-meter-long mural on a local cinema wall. Employing contemporary painting techniques, the mural reflects a vibrant composition of images and colors, promoting artistic expression in public spaces. This initiative not only enriched the local cultural landscape but also sparked interest in future mural projects, fostering collaboration among artists and community members.
