Condición corporal en ovejas Pelibuey en el trópico de México
Resumen
La condición corporal (CC) es una forma de evaluar el estado de reservas corporales (principalmente reservas de grasa) que tiene un animal y puede ayudar a comprender la adecuación entre el alimento disponible y las necesidades de las ovejas a lo largo del ciclo productivo. Algunas mediciones in vivo, como el ultrasonido pueden usarse para predecir CC en ovejas Pelibuey multíparas y no gestantes.
