Abstract

Hidalgo is a state of Mexico endowed with a remarkable biological richness. However do not know them in detail until now. Learn about the biological richness of the state and preserve it, is very important to continue getting the environmental benefits that provide the flora and fauna. Traditionally plants and animals have been considered as sets of species without relationship. This idea is incorrect and is the cause of the people kill many animals, and with this slowly will destroy the vegetation. However the animals are required within the forest to keep it in balance. Three groups of mammals have been identified as important to maintain the function of the forest: bats, rodents and carnivores. These animals have functions that can clearly be valued in money, so the presence of each one of them should have a nominal value.
