Recycled concrete fine aggregates and their influence on non-structural concrete
Abstract
The influence of recycled aggregates obtained from construction and demolition waste (RCD) has a growing interest in Mexico due to the high volumes that occur daily. In addition, updates in the regulations on the integral management of waste encourage the development of new products that meet the technical specifications for their application. For these reasons, in this document a quantitative analysis of the effect of fine aggregates recycled on the mechanical properties of non -structural concrete mixtures is carried out, arguing the physical characteristics in different mixing designs with a variation of 50% recycled material to 100%. In order to generate alternatives for the use of CDW, a paver blocks prototype has been designed for its placement in Type A pavements, verifying its feasibility through the characterization of its properties.
