Abstract

Within the tools applied for transport optimization, telemetry is a technology whose objective is to achieve adequate control during distribution.In this practice, a vehicle that is equipped with a system consisting of a GPS and a GPRS is monitored in which parameters such as speed, distance, time and fuel are analyzed through the MiX Telematics © platform, generating database and reports for your follow up. As a result, observed that through controlled technological systems in tools such as telemetry it is possible to monitor physical quantities at a distance. In addition to being able to notify the user of a deviation in the distribution operation, it can be an immediate and effective correction during the transport operations, and in general for the performance of logistics in the company.
