Abstract

Disease prevention and control is a fundamental component of public health that encompasses a variety of strategies and measures aimed at reducing the incidence, prevalence, morbidity and mortality of diseases in the population. In this essay, we will explore the main disease prevention and control strategies, their importance in public health and their application in contemporary practice.
