Brucellosis: A health problem not reported in Hidalgo
Abstract
Brucellosis is a zoonosis that represents a major risk in public health, however, there is a poor epidemiological follow-up of the disease because it is not always reported in accordance with the legislation involved. In this year, according to reports from government agencies, no case reports have been found in both animals (bovines) and humans, however, when considered an occupational disease, students were interviewed in the career of Veterinary Medicine and Animal husbandry at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo in order to make known the cases identified within their diagnostic tests for academic purposes, resulting in a variation between the given to know by the students with the data reported by the Epidemiological Surveillance System.
