Abstract

The recovery for people addicted to drug is a difficult process, were withdrawal and cue cause even with treatment the relapse rate is high. Controversially has proposed the use of ibogaína, an alkaloid with hallucinogenic effects that involves reducing signs and symptoms and the craving for various addictive substances.
