Installation and configuration of Pfsense in a virtual machine with VirtualBox
Abstract
Currently there is a great diversity of devices connected to the Internet. This carries a greater risk to the information that is sent between these devices. Devices are actually protected by Firewall systems. In this sense, Pfsense is a Firewall software to protect communication between devices. This papers presents the process of installing and configuring Pfsense in VirtualBox virtual machine. In addition, the VirtualBox installation process is presented, the creation of a virtual machine, the installation of the Linux operating system and Pfsense.
