Abstract

Stereotypes perpetuate the roles that society has conferred on women for example: virgin, mothers, goddesses, prostitutes, fatal women or victims. In the case of art, has not been oblivious to these buildings. Through art and Visual constructions, the man has had the power to create imagined women, therefore, conceive a femininity that is the image of their most intimate desires and hidden fears. Such omnipresence is in our culture, and its artistic representation ranges from graphic image, until the video, before passing through the narrative cinema, he which exposes their more complex expression and its wider circulation.
