Fotógrafos viajeros en México durante el siglo XIX
Abstract
This paper makes a brief journey to the use of photography as a tool of the archaeological record in the mid-nineteenth century and early twentieth century in Mexico. Some foreign persons who were responsible for carrying out this work were Désiré Charnay, Teobert Maler, Alfred Percival Maudslay and marriage Le Plongeon, among others. They were neighbors in our country, guided by the interest of exploration and encounter with vestiges of pre-Hispanic cultures. In such characters are known as "traveling photographers" whose condition nomadic travel the geography of Mexico. In this text covers, in addition, the technical procedures of the time to carry out the photographic record.
