Design, construction and control of a Ball-Plane platform
Abstract
This document presents the design, construction and control of a ball-plane platform. All the components of
the platform were designed with CAD software SolidWork and printed with the help of a 3D printer. Moreover, from
the mathematical model of the system, a Proportional-Derivative PD control law is tuned, with the aim of stabilizing
the ball on the platform. The control law was implemented in LabVIEW software from the MyRIO 1900 data
acquisition card. Also, the experimental results obtained are shown by graphs.
