Efectos positivos y negativos del SARS-CoV-2 en el medio ambiente
Resumen
La pandemia de COVID-19 ha causado una emergencia mundial teniendo como consecuencia preocupaciones sociales y económicas, sin embargo, dichas consecuencias también se extienden en contextos ambientales, algunas de ellas traen consigo efectos benéficos mientras que otros han mostrado crecientes efectos residuales en el ambiente. En este trabajo se muestra una asociación significativa entre las medidas de contingencia y la mejora de la calidad del ambiente. Por el contrario, la reducción del reciclaje y el aumento de residuos pone en peligro a los espacios físicos (agua, tierra y aire). Esto sin duda nos permite reflexionar y crear consciencia acerca de nuestro papel dentro de los ecosistemas terrestres.
