Abstract

Supramolecular chemistry is defined as “chemistry beyond the molecule”. It is based on molecular assemblies by means of intermolecular bonds. Supramolecular chemistry has enhanced the synthesis of amazing supramolecular architectures with important applications in biology, material science and catalysis.
