Competences evaluations
Abstract
The evaluation by competences is a process of obtaining evidence to measure the progress of the students, through learning activities. In this sense, competence, personal attributes and demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and skills are understood. The competences are abilities that the person develops gradually throughout the entire educational process, so they are evaluated in different stages. This type of evaluation is based on constructivism based on educational trends, and promotes deep learning. Personal attributes such as talent, emotional intelligence, values, cognitive abilities, communication and motivation are valued. In addition, various levels of competence can be assessed, from knowledgeable to expert, with varying degrees of mastery.
