Transient heat conduction
Abstract
Newton's Law of Cooling or Newtonian Cooling states that the rate of heat loss from a body is proportional to the difference in temperatures between the body and its surroundings. In the present work is provided an estimation of the cooling rate of a warm body in a colder environment, whose temperature is proportional to the difference between the instantaneous body temperature and that of the environment.
