Type 2 Diabetes
Abstract
Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a disease with a genetic predominance that affects the endocrine level exactly in the pancreatic islets, so there are negative effects on the regulation of glucose at the systemic level due to insulin resistance that begins as hyperinsulinemia in early stages. acute that in the long term causes us insulin resistance caused by many factors including overweight and obesity. The percentage of this disease is very high due to the high percentage of overweight in our country with more than 50,000 million Mexicans and an underdiagnosis of 80% and ineffective treatments in 99%. Type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases, main causes of death in Mexico. The purpose is to inform the general population of the risk factors that predispose a large part of the Mexican population to suffer asymptomatically.
