Application of predictive models and correlations
Abstract
The use of predictive models corresponds to a mathematical practice whose use is applicable to both social and exact sciences. Working with predictions helps any organization to know the results that are expected to be achieved in a certain period, through a previous history of recorded events. Today there are computer algorithms that process information in an automated way and allow calculations to be processed to obtain results that estimate a future scenario. The methods used in this report are: Moving Average, Absolute Variation, Linear Regression and Exponential Smoothing.
