Ibuprofen and tramadol: an option to counteract pulp pain
Abstract
Pain is one of the most frequently treated symptoms outside of health professionals. The patient often resorts to self-medication with anti-inflammatories, analgesics and antibiotics, which can perpetuate and aggravate problems that could have had an easy treatment. It can even achieve a dependence on medication. If the pain in dentistry is poorly managed and its causes are not investigated and treated properly, it is possible that the clinical picture will evolve to more severe stages. Today it is not possible to talk about standardized management, each case is independent and must be treated in a particular way for all types of patients, in addition, research in the search for the best pharmacological treatment is continuous and is updated day by day.
