Pregnancy and Preventive measures in Covid-19
Abstract
Introduction: Pregnancy is a natural process and must be carried out as such by a health professional, this is affected by a state of susceptibility that the mother presents, conditioned by the same physiological and anatomical change that occurs during pregnancy. Talking about an infection process in pregnancy causes alarm and uncertainty, especially when it is caused by a poorly studied disease such as the Sars-Cov-2 infection that causes the Covid-19 disease. Limited information is available to date, but it strengthens bio-security measures. The objective of this work is to collect prevention measures and suggestions for pregnant women in the face of Covid-19. Methodology: A bibliographic search was carried out in different sources G. Escholar, Pud Med, Dialnet, analysing and combining the recommended measures for this class of patients. Results: 12 publications were analysed, recommending different prevention measures for Covid 19 in pregnant women. Conclusion: Recommendations are offered such as that the pregnant woman does not have immunosuppression as such, however bio-safety protocols such as social distancing, thorough hand washing and use of face masks should be followed.
