Classification of learning strategies
Abstract
This work proposes a classification of learning strategies given the importance they have in the learning process of any student. Learning strategies represent the behaviors and thoughts that a student uses in the learning process during their academic training. Three classifications derived from a search of the literature found are proposed in this document. However, the classification made by Weinstein and Mayer stands out, which describes learning strategies as repetition, elaboration and organization. Finally, cooperative learning is illustrated as teaching strategies in heterogeneous groups.
