Abstract

The blockchain in the supply chain is one of the emerging technologies that is transforming operations in companies.In this book the authors present the main benefits of industry 4.0 technologies in the supply chain environment in a global context. . It explains how the blockchain can be used to solve some of the main challenges along the different links that make up the production processes. This work also addresses current and cutting-edge thinking about practical applications in the industry. The internet of things (IoT), Big Data, autonomous learning and artificial intelligence are some of the tools addressed throughout this book. It also includes case studies that highlight the opportunities and benefits in the implementation of blockchain in the supply chain. Without a doubt, this book contributes to knowledge around the fourth industrial revolution and the impact on the supply chain.
