Abstract

In this book, the author, in addition to reaffirming the key points for effective leadership, covers 11 actions of change that every leader must carry out, not only to maintain a course of results and success, but also to achieve goals that current times demand. He points out that they are a series of moments that allow anticipating the circumstances that set the pace of both personal and team work.

In this reading, the author addresses in a simple and clear way, with personal experiences and real stories of people who have faced to overcome their personal and work problems, landing with a reflection of each of the changes that he proposes so that the leader is updated and not continue with an inertia or vision of a leader that is not in accordance with the social, technical and data management changes that are currently taking place. Perhaps, a good example is everything experienced with the health problem of the Covid-19 pandemic, in these circumstances, the leaders had to adapt, innovate and adapt the forms of remote or non-face-to-face work, and always focused on results, given this, the author rightly points out in his Chapter 8: From Management to Connection - The Change in Communications how to impact your work team through a videoconference connection. This book would be a good tool for students and graduates so that they can use it in their working lives.
