KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION PROCESS OF NURSING THE FIRST LEVEL HEALTH CARE

Abstract

The process of nursing care (NPC) is a universal standard to provide nursing care and quality tool, however, its use is accentuated in the secondary and tertiary health care, research on NPC in the first level Attention is little, even though it is serving a large percentage of the Mexicana (Secretaria de Salud, 2009) population and where nursing actions directly impact the individual, providing activities "health promotion and disease prevention in people of all ages, families and communities "(CIE) (Consejo Internacional de Enfermeras, 2003), the objective of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and professional application that has on the process of nursing care by a descriptive study, cross type, with a purposive sampling conducted in the period July 2013 November 2014, an instrument called "Knowledge and application of the nursing process in the first level of health care" was used, the analysis was performed using SPSS statistical software and Excel, resulting nurses do know the PAE but less than 50% and apply it partially.
