Reflections on musical education, faithful companion in the integral formation of the individual
Abstract
It is indisputable that, throughout history, music has been a faithful companion in man's activities, being used for different purposes, such as therapeutic, religious, entertainment, or educational. The benefits it provides have attracted the interest of educators, educational psychologists, among others, due to the impact it has on the individual in the learning process.
The present work gathers and exposes a series of arguments from different authors about the advantages offered by school music education, as a relevant part in the integral formation of students, with the intention of supporting the work that teachers carry out on a daily basis in schools. educational, by showing the scope of music as a pedagogical element that facilitates and enriches the knowledge of learners
