Abstract

Whenever the development of new technologies and their influence in all areas of society, in this context, the digital divide, defined as the difficulty of access to new technologies by certain sectors of the population, continues to be the centre of the debate. Today, the Internet is the most powerful medium, allowing interaction through a virtual world and thereby shifting the barriers of time and space. With the arrival of this new tool for society and its implementation in education, the digital literacy arises which aims to strengthen the process of teaching and learning.
